The
Verde Canyon Railroad Adopts Full Suite Of Rezware and RezWEB Reservations
Products
Arizona Scenic Railroad Excursion Services Over
100,000 Passengers Annually
Clarkdale, Arizona - The Verde Canyon Railroad
recently adopted and completed implementation of the entire suite of
Rezware
2000 Back Office and RezWEB online internet reservation systems.
The Verde Canyon Railroad offers over 400 unique,
comfortable, first class or coach seats on every excursion to view Sinagua
Indian ruins, a monocline fold, pass through a 680 ft. man-made tunnel, and
traverse the North Verde River, home to a variety of endangered and endearing
waterfowl and wildlife. The land traveled by the Railroad provides the only way
possible to view a unique and protected wilderness preservation. The Railroad
depot also has a cafe, gift store & mini-museum.
The Verde Canyon Railroad first adopted the
Rezware 2000
WAN Edition "Back Office" reservations system which provides reservations, seating, check ins, ticketing and
accounting management functions for all inbound call center reservations while
allowing remote internet access to offsite marketing associates and corporate
accounting personnel.
The RezWEB online reservation system was then implemented
with a direct, real time interface into the Rezware 2000 "Back Office" system for
secure, real
time direct internet customer reservations, as well as outside third party sales
agency reservations, providing one seamless system for all their reservations
and accounting needs. RezWEB generated over $20,000 in online reservations in
just the first month alone.
Robin Breen, Assistant General Manager states;
"Thank
you for a unique and incredibly flexible reservation system in which we have
been able to efficiently adapt and address the needs and comforts of our
guests; the passengers, with the ability to reap the rewards of our products and
service offerings.
You have given us the opportunity to pull the different departments
together and have the ability to communicate with our significant other
company members.
Thank you
for an amazing, well written system"
Its not the destination, its the journey!
